Whoa. This is heavy.
Fans of the Back to the Future movies have hoped for years to have some of the technology shown in the future scenes in the films. A jacket that adjusts to your fit and dries itself. Dinner that is delicious within moments. Loads of cool stuff. But let’s face it, everyone wants a hoverboard. It’s the closest thing to personal flight that seems plausible. And it’s just plain cool. Which is why news from Hendo, the company behind the new product, giving people a chance to jump in on a Kickstarter campaign and start large scale production of a working hoverboard is a big deal.
This is pretty impressive. While there’s clearly a long way to go to meet silver screen expectations, this is an awesome step in the right direction. Now if I can find a spare ten grand laying around..
